If I had to buy a ukulele right now, this is where I'd be putting my money. The aNueNue Hawaiian Dream Ukulele is hands-down incredible for its price. Sounds too good to be true? It's not. aNueNue absolutely nails the simple things. As a result, you get a premium uke at a cost a margin above an entry level price.
Tonally, its a 10/10. Well balanced, melodic, soothing. Everything I want when I hear a ukulele. Sometimes ukuleles can be a little too grating, too saccharine. That's not the case here. The solid top provides all the fullness and richness of sound I could ever need.
Comfort is another gold star. The fretboard is silky smooth, the strings are the softest fluorocarbons on the market. The matte finish on the neck is cool to the touch. The open hand glides easily up and down the fingerboard, trouble free. It's a pleasure to hold and play.
Now let's talk aesthetics. Again, no surprises, it's full marks. The classic shapely body of aNueNue, the black binding, the subtle intricacies of the Mahogany. What can I say? I'd buy one right now if I didn't already own a ukulele shop. Top of the range sound, feel, and looks, at an affordable price.

I bought the aNueNue T3E a few weeks ago and I've been playing it every chance I get ever since. The sound is lovely and warm, made warmer with a low G, but still bright and well defined. It looks great and feels comfortable to play. It feels like a really solid instrument and to my ears, sounds like a much more expensive one.
I'd like to say how helpful Rory was! He even stayed back at the shop past closing hours so that I could try the uke out in person. Then he patiently waited while I tried a few different models out. In the end I found the uke that was right for me. Great service and a very happy customer!
A very nice sounding Ukelele, however arrived without the electrics working.
Emailed and was told probably a flat battery, asked whre to find the battery.
Result no battery. Emailed again for instructions on how to replace battery, and
was refered to a video on how to do it. After inserting a new battery all was well.
Happy with the Ukelele overall but a proper check before delivery would have found
the problem.

as well made as a Bondi uke , nice mellow sound , action a bit high though . Pick up good , nice that it doesn't need a battery . Very happy with it . Sounds even better now I've put Naomi fluoro carbon strings on it and a low G worth clear string .

Each ukulele that leaves our warehouse will undergo a strict QC and setup process by our experienced staff. The setup process if fairly similar for all instruments but we will spend more time on the more expensive models. The budget models will receive all of the crucial checks but we won't spends as much time on things such as fretboard lemon oil.
