I have bought several ukes from Ukulele Mate over time and have also written quite a few feedback to the team. Hard to say which uke is best as each one has its unique wood design and sound. I love them all! In short, it has been a pleasure communicating with Joel, Shai and the rest of the staff. Service is outstanding and prompt, products are high quality and the ukes are beautiful to look at, even sweeter to play! They would bend over backwards to make customers happy, which seem to be their greatest reward.

Excellent personal customer service. Product arrived in just a few days, even though it was less than 2 weeks before Christmas. My daughter(pictured) and myself are so happy with her new ukulele. And all the extras and support are amazing. She was able to learn 2 songs before NYE and has never played before. Perfect size for her. We’ll definitely be getting our next ukulele from these guys!!!

I purchased my first Ukulele from Ukulelemate 9 months ago! Had a ton of fun with it! I had a strange buzzing coming from it a few months after I purchased it, took it to my local music store who told me they thought the neck was warped and to take it back to where I purchased it. I contacted Bernard at Ukulelemate who asked me to send a sound clip of the buzzing and impressed me with “if we can’t get to the bottom of the buzz we will replace the Ukulele for you”! Wow! Sent off the sound clip and Bernard identified straight away that it was a worn string! LOL - I had been practicing so hard I had worn the string out!! (I have no idea what the guy in the music store couldn’t pick that up). Changed the string and buzz gone!!!! I was very impressed with the service! Love my little Lanikai!!

For a start it is hard to go wrong with this very well organized company....Lifetime warranty....return before 30 days if not happy....great bundle of extras...but the proof is in the pudding. This little tenor just speaks to you. Perfect intonation and very good action, reasonably well made although i have used some 1000 glass paper to smooth the edges of the bridge and 1000 wet and dry to smooth the outside edges of the frets, some sharp edges but all very good now. Some lemon oil on the finger board and lots of guitar polish on the body and all good. Have played it hard for 3 days and it keeps getting better. I imagine with its all solid koa body it will sound pretty good in a few years time and the colour will darken in time also. It is a little softly spoken but I think it has something to do with the very low and easy action, maybe I will put a shim under the saddle and I might get a little more volume but the good thing is the tone is sweet. So it isn't a $2000 ukulele but it sure is value for money. Highly recommended
