Cracker of a Uke

Found an Enya Nova U Carbon Black Uke in the discount box one day. The blurb said it had some fret wear, I figured there’s a good chance it would still outlast me. Its better to ask forgiveness than permission, Right? Using this, and the discount, as justification; my wife found out about the new uke when the courier dropped off the package. I’m still alive, well just, whew!
I was happy to see it came with the original Enya case and a set of spare Enya strings, though I do wonder what a low g might sound like on it. The fret wear, its a good thing I wear glasses, because otherwise I wouldn't have seen it. Played by itself, the Enya has a nice rice tone which I really like. It’s light and easy to hang onto. Plugged into a amp, you have to play with the settings, this thing crawls out from the gutter and reveals its dirty side, which I have to say, I really like. I think silver fret wires would make it just a little easier to play in low light, otherwise it is an awesome uke. I need to go away now, and work out how to acquire a tenor size and stay married. I made a small vid so you can hear what this uke sound like in the wild.
