These Japanese made carbon strings are easily the best strings we have ever played. We spent a week testing all of the best ukulele strings in the world including Aquila, D'addario, Worth, Hannabach and more. These Nami strings were our top pick.
They produce the most pure clarity that we have heard on a ukulele when strumming. They perform really well fingerpicking, alongside the Aquila reds which we love too.
As expected, they are extremely soft on the fingers, making them invaluable to beginners especially. A good set of strings can do wonders for any uke, these strings are definitely worth the investment.
We tested these particular strings on soprano, concert and tenor and found them to be suitable for all sizes.

It sounds great! I replaced the strings on my Ovation Applause uke and it sounds better than new!
I love my Nami Strings for my ukele. This is the second uke I have strung with the
Very mellow sound.
These aren't my personal go-to strings, but they are my fiance's! And I do have to agree with her, they are absolutely beautiful sounding and they can pack a punch! These are the only fluorocarbon strings I can play comfortably, and as my fiance's first instrument with strings, they made it easy on her getting started. They truly are unique in my opinion and if these were all I had, I'd be happy.
I first tried the Nami strings after you sent me a free trial set when I bought one of my 3 Ukeleles from you. I loved them then. I recently messaged John for his views for my Enya Joy concert ukelele and he suggested to try Nami again. Great string good sound.
The Nami Fluorocarbon strings excell. Soft to the touch. A pleasure to play. Very fast response and excellent sustain. Very pleased.
Nice bright sound and kind to fingers. A very worthwhile upgrade over standard.
