The Arcadia Series by Bondi Ukuleles are one of the best value instruments we have ever played. Most ukuleles in the price range of $100-$400 will have some kind of compromise, they may look great but be poorly setup, they may lack the wow factor, they may lack the finishing touches, there always seems to be a shortcut taken from my experience.
I can tell you that the Arcadia series is one of the first ukes in this price range that ticks every single box. Not a single compromise.
They are perfectly built and have phenomenal playability with Japanese carbon strings. They also look gorgeous with an indigo pearl rosette, maple body binding and fretboard binding. The logo is inlayed which looks and feels way better than other ukes in this price range which use cheap stickers or screen printing.
Super impressive ukulele for the price.

Loving my new venture as a Ukelele Beginner! The entire experience with UkeleleMate has been very pleasing; and actually extremely exciting!! Firstly, I love the actual Ukelele, and the fact that it's Aussie. The headstock Logo, and Soundhole detail just sets off what is a really lovely bright uke to play. There is nothing I don't like about it, actually. It was so exciting to unwrap my package and to see the smart very functional bag too, and then all the very useful extras as well. I have appreciated the emailed lessons by Anna, and am already amazing my friends with the songs I can already play quite well after just two weeks. I'm so glad I found the UkeleleMate website and "clicked". I very much appreciate their attention to detail, with everything I need to begin my Ukelele Adventure. The little Bondi Stand I purchased with it even doubles as Desktop Music Stand!! Thanks UkeleleMate!! ❤️
My Arcadia Tenor is just beautiful. I'm so in love. UkeleleMate helped me choose the correct Uke for my non petite fingers. The bonus package is so important to start however make sure you wear your glasses when you put the tuner on the uke as I popped the spring and can't put it back together. ..lesson learned. It is never too old to be a rock star and its time to begin 🤟
Super impressed with the quality of my ukelele.
I am retired and whilst a keen music fan I was looking for something that gave me a mental challenge, I think this will provide that for me.
Tackle it every day for an hour or so and I am really enjoying the challenge.
Definately a start into Ukule playing hoping I gets better
To quote James Hill, I think that we suffer from "Ukulele Acquisition Syndrome". This was the fourth ukulele we welcomed into our family (alongside a bunch of guitars, pianos, harmonicas, etc., as well).
I can't get over how impressed I am with... well... everything! Where to start? The product (an entry-level tenor uke) is of very impressive quality for the price. The extras it came with were great. There was a cool little book about the history of the uke, which was pored over by everyone in the house. The bag is well-made, good-looking, and fit for purpose. The pre-sales support was helpful and patient with me as we iterated a number of times on the order. The delivery time was impeccable. We're in Melbourne, and it arrived the morning after I pulled the trigger.
What else can I say, but that everything was perfect? It's very rare to come across a business that does things this well. Not to play down how awesome the Uke is (check out Feng E on YouTube), but it's often presented as a 'simple' instrument for beginners. Similarly, Ukulelemate made the complex process of running an online business look trivially simple.
I had a choice of buying locally or from Ukulelemate! I chose to purchase locally. After 3 weeks when my Uke hadn’t arrived I decided to cancel my order and purchase from Ukulelemate. They said delivery could be expected between 6 and 8 days, to my surprise it ended up being 4 days, I tracked the delivery through AustPost and got excited when the delivery was on its way the next day.
Talk about supporting business locally that’s fine but when your purchase hadn’t arrived in reasonable time and any excuse is offered that changes all that. Your company excelled in getting my Uke in express time and I throughly recommend any potential buyers consider my situation first. Thanks Ukulelemate! Ivethaf my Uke for about a month now and am keener than ever. Waiting around on empty promises - sucks!
All ukuleles under $1000 are made in China. There are a handful of instruments made in the USA/Australia but they come with a hefty price tag and aren't always worth the price. Often the more affordable instruments are just as good, if not better. At ukulelemate, we have tested thousands of instruments and found the sweetspot where quality meets value.
Yes you can! We have the best returns policy in the Australian music industry. No matter what you buy from us, we will take it back within 60 days and give you a full refund for the original purchase. What's even better - we pay for the return shipping. It's simple and easy.
We offer a lifetime warranty on all products. You won't find this anywhere else in the world, most music stores offer 12 months, maybe 24 months if you are lucky. We sell products that are high quality and will last. We stand behind them with a lifetime warranty.
Each ukulele that leaves our warehouse will undergo a strict QC and setup process by our experienced staff. The setup process if fairly similar for all instruments but we will spend more time on the more expensive models. The budget models will receive all of the crucial checks but we won't spends as much time on things such as fretboard lemon oil.
We package the ukes extremely well with our own thick custom made boxes. Each year we ship thousands of ukuleles all across Australia and the world. We guarantee you will receive your uke in 100% perfect condition.
