Bondi has taken one of their best value instruments and made it into a pineapple ukulele! We are blown away by the quality of this uke. I would describe the sound as a sweet, traditional Hawaiian tone. It also produces a much fuller sound compared to the figure 8 shaped ukes, due to the larger space inside the body. This allows the sound to resonate much better. Since this is in a tenor size, you get such a strong resonance.
The appearance is stunning with the indigo pearl rosette, maple body binding and black ebony fretboard. If I was choosing between this pineapple and its cousin in the figure 8 shape, I would be choosing this pineapple. That's just my preference, but I can also say that all of the team here at UkuleleMate are in love with this ukulele.
