Our review

Aquila's Red strings produce a deeper tone by changing the weight of the material rather than increasing its gauge. By keeping the gauge thinner and more consistent, Red strings sound brighter and more powerful, and are more responsive across the entire fretboard. This also helps them stay in tune longer than thicker strings. The textured brown/red Red® strings have a very rich tone with a very loud projection.

Bright Warm Sweet Strings

These Aquilla Strings are perfect for the low G tenor gang who love low G but not the dull warmth of an unwound G. The Reds are bright, warm and sweet.

Joe does it again

I bought these strings after a recommendation from Joe. My Enya tenor ukulele has never sounded so good. Thanks again for your help Joe.

Excellent

I love the Aquila red strings.
They are extremely responsive with a loud, bright tone. The are just the right thickness for my Tangelwood Tenor. I also received a free pair of ukulele socks & a string winder- it was a great surprize!

Low G Strings

Joel did a great work (as usual) and I received my strings in 2 days.

For those interested in using a Low G - these are really good strings. I'd buy them again for sure.

The low G is excellent and provides a nice mellow lower depth. It's quite different to the High G. I think the Low G is really good for many Bob Dylan songs (in particular).
